World premiere of an opera by Mikael Tariverdiev. The Marriage of Figarenko, a grotesque opera, was presented by graduates of Dmitry Bertman’s workshop. The thesis production by graduates of the musical theatre faculty of the Russian Institute of Theatrical Arts premiered at the professional stage of Moscow’s Helikon Opera theatre. An evening dedicated to Mikael Tariverdiev's music was held with great success in Yerevan, Armenia. Participated Haik Kazasyan (violin), Alexey Goribol (piano), Dmitriy Pevtsov (vocal), Gevorg Hakobyan (baritone), Gevorg Dabaghyan (duduk), State Youth Orchestra of Armenia conducted by Sergey Smbatyan.
